Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel now counts more than 450 families as members, with a vibrant and inclusive religious school, and one of the city's most respected early learning centers.
We are proud of how each member brings his or her own story to our diverse community—such as those who have a multi-generational history at our congregation and those new to the city or BZBI, of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking a Jewish community – a place to call home.
BZBI has been part of the fabric of our city and the Philadelphia Jewish community for 175 years. Together we are building a 21st century Jewish institution that is personal, meaningful, and fulfilling. We welcome all to join us in community, regardless of age, race, sexual orientation or gender identity.
